Mainz8 D-TC SUPREME power distributor has 8 dedicated mains outlets and features Ansuz’s extremely low impedance star grounding system, which is a unique hallmark of all our power distributors.

*Ansuz NSC Technology (Noise Suppressing Coil)
This is a passive noise suppressing element that relies on the mains’ spike noise cancellation. The way it works is to have a double inverted coil connected to the power conductors. So, when the dual NSC encounters a voltage spike, a counter spike is developed in the counter wound section of the NSC. As noise spikes consist of pure voltage and carry virtually no charge, the noise cancelation is remarkably good, but still not perfect. But by adding more Noise Suppressing Coils in parallel, the performance increases significantly - and with that, the perceived blackness in the music also improves tremendously.

**Ansuz ATC Technology (Active Tesla Coil)
The analog dither that we use in a wide range of our products is based on the Ansuz ATC technology, which has its roots in radar technology. In radar applications, the sonar results were – much to the astonishment of most engineers – significantly better when installed in a mobile environment (aircrafts or ships) rather than in stationary systems on land. They concluded that the vibrations of the aircrafts and ships were conducive to boosting the radar’s sonar performance. This phenomenon paved the way for the invention of analog dithering. When adding a very low level random noise to the dither and modulating the noise floor, it allows an unrestricted access to the actual data flow of audio signals and therefore distinctly improves the musical performance and guarantees an excellent and authentic listening experience.
